Artists specialised in figurative artwork, working in any material (paper, sculpture, painting, photography) are encouraged to submit their work for consideration for the upcoming publication ” The Contemporary Portrait”. The hard-cover publication will be made available to professionals, collectors, institutions and art-lovers during the 57th Biennale in Venice.

The contemporary still life

Since Arte Ponte is an NGO, our intention is to make the book predominantly complimentary for selected, key individuals. Due to limited funds, we can only sponsor a percentage of the production costs. Hence, artists will be requested to help by paying a fee. The fees will cover the writers, graphic designers, translators, administration and sales staff and the production costs plus air freight to Venice.

The 2017 annual year book

Selected works by fine art graduates world-wide (artist submission deadline 10th February 2018).Books are published on non-gloss art paper, 10 x 13 inches (or 25.2 x 33 cm) thread sewn, reinforced case bound. hard cover, with a sleeve.

The graduate year book. Vol 2018

Graduate students (2015 -2018)  of fine art are invited to submit their work for the upcoming publication “The Year Book”; an annual publication which showcases new talent from institutions world-wide.

The work of over 100 graduates are introduced to galleries, collectors, institutions and art-lovers. This edition will be available to online as an e-book and via amazon as a printed book. Individual print copies are produced on demand.

Each graduating artist will have a double page, a curatorial text based on their artist-statement translated into two  languages (English, German or Spanish).  Paper in non-gloss art paper, hard cover with a dust-jacket.

 

Fees 

Non-members pay a USD 40 application for consideration. Members pay USD 15.-

Publication costs, once accepted are USD 580.- which covers editing, translation, graphic layout and production.
